Margo's Creations
My wife is very talented with a crochet hook and a sewing machine. She is constantly working on one project or another. She does it because she enjoys it and because she likes sharing her creations with the people she cares about. My Mom was like this, too. It is something that they shared and it bonded them until Mom's passing in 2010. I think the nicest compliment my Mom ever paid to Margo, and know that Mom was a good seamstress, was to tell me that Margo was better on a sewing machine than she was. High praise.
Avalanche Afghan
I have always been very proud of Margo's abilities, and more her willingness to spend hour upon hour, agonizing over details, telling me "I'll know", when I said no one would notice a fault, and then pulling out hours of work to retreat back to the offending portion. And then have it given away. A Thank You was usually given, but it you could see how much of herself Margo poured into these, you would understand how big her heart must be, to have anything leftover.
There must be other pictures of other projects, but I am sure in her haste to give them to the person she made them for, a picture was forgotten. But, they are alive in her memory, for after the piece of her soul in put into her work, the memory fills that spot.
Anyway, it is long over due that I carve out some corner on my website to show off the things Margo has done. Know that these pictures do not do them justice!
