Thomas Brothers
Below is a copy of the sons of James Henry Thomas and Sarah Easterling Thomas. The photo was taken on the day of their father's funeral. Below that is a cropped copy of the same photo that appeared in a Carter County history book. It is labeled with the men's names, but one name is missing. Special thanks to Vickie Holbrook Slone, who provided the missing name so now all men are identified. See Vickie's comment below.

The picture of the Thomas Brothers are as follows:
Left to Right: Preston, Owen, Slyvester, Steve, Martin, Frank(Grandpa), John and Joe.
This was told to my Aunt Helen, by my Papaw, as she wrote.
All the brothers we preachers. Grandpa was a traveling preacher. My Papaw was born in a house on the border of Kentucky and Tennessee. Half of the house was in Tennessee and half in Kentucky. He was born in the Kentucky half.
According to Papaw, one of the brothers went out West and they never heard from him again. I think I have his name somewhere. I will give a look if you would like.
Hope this helps.
