Campbell Memorial Park
Campbell Memorial Park is a sports park that features a baseball field, outdoor hockey rink, and tennis courts. It geared very specifically to these three activities. There is no open space for pets or children, and there is no playground equipment.
The Hockey Rink is currently the only one it town. If in-line hockey is your game, then Campbell Park is for you. The Tennis Courts, while not new, are in good shape and are well maintained. The baseball field comes with a nice backstop and chain link dugouts. The field is not irrigated, so in the Colorado plains, that means it is a dirt field.
There is a Port-a-Potty near the hockey rink and tennis courts. Parking for those two arenas are at the Indoor Swimming Pool next door. Parking for the baseball field as at the Adams County Administration Building, the tallest building in Brighton, next door. Both parking lots are very convenient.

Brighton Memorial Parkway
Brighton Memorial Parkway is a ¾ mile long, 10 acre paved trail. It is dedicated to the various men and women who served the city of Brighton through their deeds and dedication of time.
It is called a Parkway as it is actually a narrow park. The dominate feature is the paved trail, which is used by mostly by walkers. But, there are several benches along the way and a small concrete drainage canal attracts a variety of wildlife that have adapted to city life. During the day most of that will be birds, rabbits, and squirrels. During the night the occasional fox and raccoon is seen.
The memorial portion of the parkway consists of large boulders that have had plaques affixed to them. The name of the Brightonian and words thanking them for their dedication and volunteer service, are generally the inscription.
The Parkway has four entrances. The two main ones are at 1896 Southern St, directly across from Benedict Park. And, 1335 Bromley Lane, between 13th Ave and Poppy Dr. There is a residential spur trail that leads from Poppy Dr to the trail. It is located north of Jessup St. The final entrance to the trail occurs at Jessup St, where the trail crosses this road.
There is no parking at all at the Bromley entrance. There is only residential parking on Poppy and Jessup. The best place to access the trail, if you drive to it, is from Southern St. There is parking across the street at Benedict Park.
