Scooter Family
Scooter good dog. One afternoon Scooter minding own business. Grandpappy come to Scooter.
“Scooter, I’ve been reading your blogs and I see some problems”
“Grrrrrrrrrr” say Scooter. Scooter think blogs fine. Scooter dog. Scooter not Hemingway.
“Easy, boy. I just mean you kind of started you stories in the middle”
“Grrrrrrrr” Scooter not like where going
“You mention me and Margo and Jessi. Well, you do it under different names, but no one know who you are talking about.”
“Grrrrrrrrr” Scooter think Grandpappy should worry about own blogs. No one reading his. But Scooter not say anything.
“Why don’t you tell the people about your family?” concluded Grandpappy as he walk away.
Grandpappy better walk away. Scooter was go pit bull on him. Ok, Scooter not do that. Scooter good dog. But, Scooter does plan to poop on patio. Besides the only pit bull that Scooter know is Enzo, Scooter step brother. Enzo not exactly junkyard dog tough.
Tell you secret. Enzo is afraid of patio swing. Enzo like swing. Enzo get in swing. Enzo can’t get down. Enzo cry. Enzo whine like puppy. Not very good Pit Bull. Scooter tease Enzo. Scooter say Enzo is “fraidy cat”. Enzo just whine. Granny come out and hold swing so Enzo get down. Dumb, Enzo, dumb. Tell other secret. Enzo have drinking problem. Scooter no say more. Enzo dumb. Enzo chase tail. Enzo catch tail. Enzo bite tail. Enzo yelp. Then Enzo do again. This how Enzo entertain self. Entertain Scooter, too.
Enzo strong. One time Mommy take Enzo to park. Enzo get Mommy yelled at. Mommy throw stick for Enzo fetch. Dumb Enzo not find stick. Enzo try to bring Mommy tree instead. Park man very mad at Enzo. Park man yell at Mommy. Scooter love his Mommy. Mommy go to doggie orphanage and buy Scooter. Scooter born in Kentucky. Mean people take Scooter away from first Mommy. New Mommy spend $500 for Scooter. Grandpappy say Mommy was ‘Out of her effin mind” Scooter not know what that mean. But Grandpappy smart. Grandpappy must be right. |
Mommy take Scooter places. Scooter love to go for ride. Mommy feed Scooter. Mommy give Scooter MilkBones. Mommy talk to Scooter. She talk to Scooter different than other peepul. Mommy say
“Is Cooter Mommy’s good baby? Yes, he is! Tooter is a good boy! Yes, Scooter-Toot-Toot is! Come give Mommy kisses!”
Mommy sometime forget Scooters name.
To Pete, Mommy’s boyfriend, Mommy say
“You’re giving me a headache.” or, “Go clean up after the dog”
Scooter like Pete. Pete pet Scooter. Pete rub Scooter tummy. Some time Pete yell at Scooter. Usually when Scooter get out of yard or when Scooter bark. Scooter like Pete anyway. Pete leave food out for Scooter to find. Pete not hide it very well. Pete usually leave it on floor where him watch TV. Mommy tell Pete to hide his food better. Mommy say
“Will you throw that in the trash, so Scooter doesn’t find it!”
Scooter tell secret. Scooter find it there, too
Granny always hide her leftover food. She put it in place behind door. Scooter find. But, Scooter no get. Granny loves her Scooter. Granny take Scooter places. Granny give Scooter snacks. Granny let Scooter sleep on bed. Granny make Grandpappy share his side of bed.
Granny say “Don’t make me choose which one of you gets to stay”
Grandpappy say bad words.
Eve and Madie sleep with Granny and Grandpappy. Madie sleep on floor. Eve sleep on floor. Eve is Australian Cattle Dog. Eve bark in funny accent. Scooter not always understand Eve.
Eve is not dumb like Enzo. Eve does not have drinking problem. Eve have other problem. Eve have epilepsy. Eve have seizure. Scooter not like seizure. Scooter bark.
Eve like water. Eve think Eve fish. Eve attack Grandpappy sprinklers. Grandpappy get mad. Grandpappy come outside and see Eve chew up flower sprinklers. Grandpappy say more bad words.
Madie not like water. Madie is cocker spaniel. Madie is foo-foo dog. Madie go beauty parlor and Madie like it. Scooter not like beauty palor. Beauty palor give Scooter bath. Beauty palor give Madie bath. Madie come home and prance. Madie show other dogs
“Look at me! I’m a pretty girl!”
Granny say same thing. Granny say
“Hello, Madie! Hello, Pretty Girl”
This make Scooter tummy feel funny. Like after Scooter eat grass.
Madie is good dog. She always stay with Scooter when other dogs go play in watr. Madie not like watr.
That is Scooter family. Hope Grandpappy happy.
